Method for aligment of a vehicle mirror

The method involves detecting the current position parameters of at least one driver using an internal spatial sensor arrangement (1) and automatically adjusting the rear view mirror (5,6) depending on the detected head and/or eye position of the driver. Mirror adjustment is conducted after switching on the ignition and/or operating a switch in the motor vehicle.
