Air distribution device

The air distributor (10) is coupled to an air duct and has at least one air outlet which can be adjusted between an open and a closed position to suit individual requirements and at least one further air outlet used for background ventilation of the passenger compartment, the further air duct closed when the first air duct is open and opened when the first air duct is closed. Both air ducts are provided by an elongate body (14) rotated about its axis, which is supported by a holder (15) at either end.
