Sealing strip

A first surface (5') is specified for gluing to one of two parts. A second surface (SS) (5) is specified on the second of the two parts in a closed position for a sealing system and, in addition, represents a visible surface (VS). The SS has a layer (2) to form the VS. One side of this layer turned away from the SS is coated with an adhesive layer (3).
