A cylinder for engines having inlet and/or outlet ports

The invention relates to a cylinder with ports for engines or machines functionally associated with a piston provided with at least one piston ring, wherein it is provided, on the inner surface thereof, at the level of at least one of the ports thereof, a guide ramp for the piston ring. The invention also relates to a process to design and produce the cylinder.
