Method and device for checking a temperature value at a destination altitude of an aircraft
DRIVE
August 10, 2005
The process involves determining static temperature at the level of an aircraft, using dynamic temperature outside the aircraft. A temperature value related to temperature at destination altitude is measured using the static temperature. A difference between the value and the destination altitude temperature is found. An alarm signal is emitted by an alarm signal providing unit (10) when the difference is greater than a preset value. An independent claim is also included for an aircraft including a flight management system having a device for verification of a temperature value at a destination altitude of the aircraft.
