Floor for passenger vehicles, consisting at least partially of a support cover (sic) in synthetic plastic or Al including a region in which the top layer consists of wood veneer or at least of a cork, bonded flush with the support cover. The elastic modulus of the material of which the support cover is made in the top layer region is greater than that of the top layer.
