Airbag system

An airbag system includes an airbag having therein a plurality of chambers (61,62) defined by a partition (60) and a gas introduction portion (65) arranged to face an end of the partition (60) and an inflator (12) having a gas supply portion (22) and arranged opposite to the end of the partition (60) for supplying gas to the gas introduction portion (65), wherein a passage is arranged between the partition (60) and the inflator (12) to allow fluid communication between the chambers.
