The fuel injector has a nozzle module (12) having an injecting opening (24) cooperating with a nozzle needle. A second injecting opening (28) cooperates with two nozzle needles and is axially adjustably connected. A valve has a module (14), and a controller for controlling the nozzle needles. The second nozzle needle cooperates with a bar (48), and is turned away from a front surface of a fuel supply pressure needle. The bar forms a ring with a driver.
