Automatic water venting system for fuel filter

The system has an electrical pump activation control unit (8) for activating a decantation time delay, when engine shifts from a working state to a halt state, to permit water and fuel separation in a water collection zone (2) of a fuel filter. The unit controls activation of an electrical pump (7) during another time delay to drain water, when a detection device transmits a signal indicating presence of water in the zone.
