"textContent": "A device for reducing engine exhaust noise in an aircraft engine (10) includes a plurality of oscillating jets (12) which direct an oscillating flow (26) into the engine exhaust (14). The oscillating jets (12) are connected via channels (20) to a turbomachinery source (30 or 34) of high pressure gas, where the source (30 or 34) is located upstream from the engine exhaust portion (16). The high pressure gas passes through the oscillating jets (12), which have a nozzle (22) with a triangular shaped orifice (36) and an exhaust pipe (24) , and exits the oscillating jets (12) having a oscillating flow (26). The oscillating flow (26) mixes with the engine exhaust (14) thus reducing the noise created by the engine exhaust (14).",
