Shade apparatus for vehicle sun roofs

A shade apparatus, attached to a sunroof apparatus (3), including a transparent window (5), the transparent window (5) being supported by a window supporting member (9) so as to be attached to a vehicle roof (2), and also capable of being opened and closed, comprises a winding-type roof shade apparatus (6) provided inwards of the transparent window (5) so as to enable a shade cloth (12), which blocks light from entering therethrough, to be pulled in and pulled out, a lock mechanism (20) attached to a side portion of the winding-type roof shade apparatus (6) for maintaining the winding-type roof shade apparatus (6) in a closed state, characterized in that the shade apparatus further includes a first unlocking portion (25, 26, 28) for manually unlocking the lock mechanism (20) and a second unlocking portion (16, 16b, 30, 30a) for unlocking the lock mechanism (20) by means of a movement of the window supporting member (9).
