The invention relates to a projecting system for projecting video data in a vehicle, comprising a video projector (18) generating the video data, comprising control means for generating an optical video information and a light source for generating the light needed to display the video data, a projecting surface (19) provided on an interior component (10) of the vehicle for displaying the video data, wherein the light source (31) of the video projector (19) is an incoherent light source, and the video projector comprises focussing means (33, 34, 36) for focussing the light emitted from the light source (31).
