Exhaust gas recirculation control having mechanical temperature control

A suction pipe (2) feeds intake air to individual combustion chambers (3). An exhaust pipe (4) carries exhaust gases away from the combustion chambers. An exhaust gas re-circulation pipe (EGRCP) (5) links to the suction pipe and the exhaust pipe. A temperature sensor fits in the exhaust pipe with its temperature value used for controlling exhaust gases re-circulated through the EGRCP.
