Fuel injector

A distribution section (1) supplies fuel to a fuel injection valve (3). Supported directly on the distribution section, a holding-down section holds down the fuel injection valve in a flexible way. The distribution section has a raised area (10), out of which a retaining hole runs for retaining the fuel injection valve's end on the inflow side.
