A drive transmission unit (1) for a motor vehicle comprises a belt-driven disc (2) running opposite a fixed shaft ring (4) for a generator, especially a starter generator. The ring and disc are coupled by a centrifugal coupling (5) transmitting torque to the belt disc and opening to uncouple ring and disc on reaching a rotation speed limit.
