Headlamp for vehicles

A vehicle headlamp comprises projection module (1) with reflector (2), lens (3) and light (5), a transparent design element (7) and a light-absorbing screen (10) between the reflector outer edge and lens that weakens the lower part of the beam (8). A mirror (11) deflects light upwards onto the design element.
