Source
An ignition device for a combustion engine air/fuel mixture comprises a coaxial waveguide (5) to which high-frequency energy can be coupled with an end in the cylinder combustion space producing high voltage and a microwave plasma. The ignition pencil end (12) produces free plasma in the mixture through a long axial inner hole.
