Dashboard with passenger airbag

A motor vehicle instrument panel (1) comprises an airbag cover (11) release on the upper side by the windscreen with a cross swivel axle freeing the passenger airbag at an opening (10). There is a chosen cross-fracture point across the cover spaced from the axle and snapped by a piece at the windscreen.
