The method involves loading the actuator and measuring the actuator voltage (U) before and/or after loading, determining the time of at least one turning point (G1,G2) in the time profile of the measured actuator voltage and determining an injection parameter characterizing the injection behavior depending on the turning point time. An independent claim is also included for an injection valve with an actuator for controlling the pressure in a control chamber.
