The method consists of carrying out first checks (100-120), in conditions which are independent from the operative state of the valve (24), in order to verify a first level of efficiency of the flow meter (11); if the first level of efficiency of the said flow meter (11) is verified, carrying out second checks (130-140), in conditions which are compatible with the first level of efficiency of the flow meter (11), in order to verify a first level of efficiency of the valve (24).",
