Vehicle deceleration control method using braking torques distributed in a limited asymmetric way
DRIVE
June 15, 2005
The process involves applying to each wheel of a vehicle instantaneous individual braking torque which follows an increasing law based on instantaneous vertical load applied to the wheel. An additional operation is conditionally implemented during deceleration of the vehicle in a turn. The law is reached through a dissymmetric limit of the torque applied on the respective outer and inner wheels of the vehicle during braking.
