"textContent": "The engine has combustion chambers (4) with injectors (6) whose nozzles inject fuel into the chambers in a cone shape with an opening angle between 70 and 110 degrees to form an ignitable fuel/air mixture with separately delivered combustion air, whereby the mixture is ignited by an ignition plug whose electrodes (12) are outside the lateral surface (9) of the fuel cone (8). The combustion chambers are configured so that the fuel cone is injected as a free jet almost unaffected by the chamber boundary and the plug electrodes protrude into a fuel vortex (10) emanating from the lateral surface during injection.",
