A device for producing water on an airplane comprises one or more low temperature fuel cells forming a panel (1) or array near the inside skin (8) of the plane with the cathode side (5) comprising an outwardly directed (10) chamber for condensation of water in the air and anode side (3) having a chamber for fuel gas such as hydrogen. An independent claim is also included for a process for the above device.
