A drive device (41) for electrical injectors of a common rail fuel injection system of an internal combustion engine has a power circuit (42), in turn having a drive circuit (11), for each electrical injector (12), with a number of switches (27, 28, 29) controlled selectively to regulate the current flowing through the electrical injector (12); and a control circuit (43) for controlling operation of the power circuit (42); the control circuit (43) having a number of control modules (44), each for selectively controlling the switches (27, 28, 29) of a respective drive circuit (11), and for supplying a state signal (SFLAG) indicating the operating state of the control module (44); and a synchronization module (45) for receiving and processing the state signals (SFLAG) to generate a common synchronization signal (SSINC) for synchronizing the control modules (44); each control module (44) synchronizing and coordinating, as a function of the synchronization signal (SSINC), the drive actions imparted to the switches (27, 28, 29) of the respective drive circuit (11), with the drive actions imparted by the other control modules (44) to the corresponding switches (27, 28, 29).
