A supporting apparatus for a vehicular power unit has a power unit (P) including a power source (E) and a speed reducer (T), a power source side mount (16) and a speed reducer side mount (17), the power source side mount (16) and speed reducer side mount (17) interposed between the vehicle body frame (F) and both end portions of the power unit (P) which are on a principal axis of inertia (C) of the power unit (P) and torque rods (58,67) connecting portions of the power unit (P) which are remote from the principal axis of inertia (C) to the vehicle body frame (F). A speed reducer side lower portion mount (71) is interposed between the speed reducer (T) and the vehicle body frame (F), and the speed reducer side lower portion mount (71) has at least an elastic spring constant in a vertical direction.
