Adjustment mechanism for a sliding / raising roof

The sub-assembly consists of at least one guide rail, a slide (12) adjustable in the guide rail, and a cover support (22) provided to support the cover of a sliding/lifting roof for a vehicle. The slide is provided with a lift slot, a guide slot (14), and a locking slot. The cover support engages directly in the guide slot and directly or through a lift lever (26) in the lift slot.
