Loading tailgate

The lifting ramp for a lorry (10) has a support tube (16) mounted on the vehicle for positioning the ramp platform (15) and with end caps to close the ends of the tube. At least one end cap can be made as two hinged sections , one of which is fixed to the tube end and has an opening for a cable. The second cap has a lid for closing the remaining open area of that end of the pipe.
