The shaft guide is for an internal combustion engine's air induction passage system which has a two-section housing forming air induction passages. A flap arrangement is located between the housing sections and has a shaft and flap component installed on it. The shaft (5) is guided externally by a bearing element (10) which lies next to the operating element for the flap and which in the axial direction is extended as far as the axially limiting outer wall (11) of the housing (1,2) and additionally acts as a sealing element.
