The arrangement has a first reactive impedance (30) bridging a mains switch (12) and forming a series circuit with a second reactive impedance for connection to the mains voltage for supplying a rectifier (31), a first load circuit (34) containing the first load (21), a second load circuit (36) supplied by the rectifier and containing the second load (22) and a switch (35) in the first load circuit that is closed when the mains switch is closed.
