Holding arm for a mirror on a vehicle

The mounting arm for rear view mirrors on utility vehicles comprises a vertical metal tube (5) attached to upper (1) and lower (3) horizontal plastic arms. These are injection molded around the ends of the tube. Independent claims are included for: (A) a rear view mirror system comprising a mirror attached to an arm as described; and (B) a method for making the mounting arm.
