Power-assisted closure (2) comprises a functional plate (6) interacting with a drive element (11) close to a hook (4) which pivots in a region delimited by play, and a detent pawl (10) arranged close to the hook so that is interacts with a locking mark on the hook. Preferred Features: The functional plate is hinged on the drive element. The detent pawl is pre-tensioned in a direction facing away from the hook. A connecting rod is used as the drive element.
