Lighting device for motor vehicles

The light has a case (12), and a light transmission module (18) cooperating with a lamp (20) for forming a light beam. An actuator (30) rotates the module around an axis such that the module is adapted in predetermined angular position with respect to a reference position. The actuator effectuates a statistical adjustment of the module. The reference position of the module is stored in a memory device (42).
