Piston for a combustion chamber for reducing soot emission

The piston has a bowl (18) whose surface has a projected central stud (20) and a peripheral part (23) surrounded by an annular chasse zone (24). The bowl has an inlet comprising an edge (26) whose surface is directed towards inside of the bowl and forms an angle of 90 degrees with a fuel supply of an injector placed in an axis of the piston.
