The output of an engine (2) is delivered to the main drive wheels (1L or 1R) through a transmission (5a) and also to an electric generator (7). The output voltage of the electric generator (7) is supplied to the electric motor (4) and the output of the electric motor (4) drives the subordinate drive wheels (3L or 3R). When it is determined that the generator output voltage will not be sufficient to meet the requirement of the electric motor (4), the amount of acceleration slippage allowed at the left and front wheels (1L, 1R) is increased.",
