Tipping device for a tipping load vehicle

The tip-up lorry has a first hydraulic cylinder (23) which tips up the load container (2). A second cylinder unit (10) opens the rear flap and simultaneously releases its lock. The unit is fitted with a control valve (34) and operates at a higher pressure, supplied from an auxiliary hydraulic line (44) during the lock releasing part of its operation.
