Lordosis support for a motor vehicle seat has an adjustment mechanism (VM) for adjusting the seat contour that is mechanically coupled to a drive, a coupling gear that has a gear reduction or gear transmission for adjustment of the normal position of a seat support contour. It also has a computer unit for adjusting the drive both for a normal position and for a massage movement. An independent claim is made for an electronic control device for a motor vehicle seat lordosis support that controls massage movements of the support.
