Combustion engine and method to control stop of a combustion engine
DRIVE
April 13, 2005
Internal combustion engine comprises an oil pump (1) having a first hydraulic valve (4) arranged on its outlet (3) to influence the oil pressure in the pump by changing the cross-section of the outlet so that the necessary driving torque of the pump is controlled by the valve. The engine also has an overpressure valve (6) and a second hydraulic valve (5). An independent claim is also included for a process for the controlled shutting off of an internal combustion engine. Preferred Features: The first hydraulic valve can be switched in several stages, preferably two stages, or is continuous.
