Decontamination system for decontaminating of persons and objects

Mobile decontamination system (10) comprises at least one first and one second decontamination module, each containing units for decontaminating people and/or objects. The units of the first decontamination module are arranged in a first transportable container (12) and the units of the second decontamination module are arranged in a second transportable container (14). The first and the second decontamination modules are each equipped so that they operate in a self-sufficient manner. The transportable containers can be removably coupled together to form a large container. Preferred Features: A transport vehicle transports the large container.
