The servomotor has a cover (100) and is presented in the form of a central plate (110) lined by a tapered wall (120). The central plate has a plane central band (117) and two sloping sides (115). The central plate forms an orifice traversed by a tierod (200) attached to the cover by its edges and the orifice. The wall is plated against a dash panel, in a zone of the servomotor situated towards the servomotor center beyond the tie rod. Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) a method of assembling a pneumatic brake control servomotor on a support of a motor vehicle (b) a motor vehicle comprising a support and a braking system including a pneumatic brake control servomotor.
