A vacuum cleaner comprising a cylindrical main body (215) incorporating a dust collection chamber (216) and a blower (218) and having a suction part (219) for sucking dust disposed ahead of the main body. A cylindrical handle arm (227) is formed to rotate on the outer circumference (225) of the main body around an axis of rotation (226) which coincides with the longitudinal axis of the main body.
