For a fuel cell including a first and a second fuel cell stack (2, 3; 32A, 32B, 32C; 42A, 42B, 42C, 42D) each having a lamination composed of a plurality of laminated cellular fuel cells (9, 10), and held by end plates (7A, 7B, 8A, 8B), a cooling structure has a first cooling circuit (4) provided in a first fuel cell stack (2), a second cooling circuit (5) provided in a second fuel cell stack (3), and a third cooling circuit (14) provided in an end plate (7B) of the first fuel cell stack (2), the third cooling circuit (14) comprising a branched inflow portion (14a; 34a; 44a) and a collecting outflow portion (14b; 35d; 45f) of a coolant, connected to the first and the second cooling circuit (4, 5).
