Lens-fitted photo film unit and manufacturing method thereof

A flash unit (27) of a lens-fitted photo film unit has a positive contact member (48) and a negative contact member (49) for holding a battery between them. A main body portion (29) has a couple of supporting projections (35,36) formed integrally therewith. With a battery (50) being nipped between the positive and negative contact members, the flash unit is mounted to the main body portion, so the battery (50) is securely placed between the supporting projections. On manufacturing another lens-fitted photo film unit that contains a shorter battery (66) than the battery (50), the shorter battery (66) is connected in series to a conductive connection member (70), and nipped together with the connection member between the positive and negative contact members. Then the battery (66) and the connection member (70) are held between the supporting projections. On manufacturing another lens-fitted photo film unit that contains a longer battery (96) than the battery (50), the supporting projection (35) is cut away, and a supporting member (91) is affixed instead, to produce a second main body portion (89) that is adapted to hold the longer battery (96).
