An outer light indicator for a third brake light in automotive vehicles, intended for being assembled in a rear opening of the body, comprising an elongated casing (1) open at one of its bases and closed at the opposite base, in which a strip (3) bearing a set of LEDS (4) is assembled, whereas a lens (2) is assembled on the closed base, the lens (2) and casing (1) having anchor means (17,19) and guides (15) defining a preassembly position, in which the lens is partially separated from the casing, and a final assembly position, in which the edge of the body sheet metal is pressed between the casing (1) and lens (2).
