Producing bipolar or electrode plates (1-4) for fuel cells or electrolyzer stacks comprises cutting a flat material comprising a conductive and corrosion-resistant material into strips (5-9) using a punching process; pushing out the strips from a center position to form punched band(s) or punched blank(s); and carrying out an injection-molding process so that the punched band or blank is held in place by plastic (10).
