Device for sensing fluid parameters

The sensor device (100) has a sensor which monitors the viscosity and/or the specific volume of the windscreen washing liquid, for providing a signal for activation of a heating device when the actual viscosity or specific volume differs from the required viscosity or specific volume. The sensor can be provided by a movement element (10) and a device for detecting its movement within the liquid.
