Vehicle air conditioning system
DRIVE
March 9, 2005
The system has a housing (2) with an evaporator (5), a heating body (7), a cold air channel (10) with a bypass and mixing flaps (12) as well as air outlet channels (3,4,13). The mixing flaps are pivotable about an axis and arranged adjacent to each other in the cold air channel and produce different temperature air flows that can be fed to different zones of the vehicle via the air outlet channels. The heating body is arranged above the evaporator with the air conditioning system installed in the motor vehicle and three flaps are provided and associated with several air outlet channels.
