Lit and retro-reflective optical device

An optical device comprising a body (1) defining a cavity (11) having at least one opening (12) and a translucent retro-reflective element (3) having a lens-like structure, arranged to cover said opening (12) is disclosed. A light source (2) is arranged inside the cavity (11). The translucent retro-reflective element includes translucent retro-reflective film (31). The optical device further comprises mounting means for mounting the optical device to a vehicle body (10).
