March 9, 2005
A separator for removal of particulates from a fluid stream comprises a housing with inlet and outlet sections, a separator region, and a central hub to which are attached curved air foils shaped to catch the spiral clean flow from the cyclone separating region, to decelerate and direct it into a laminar flow pattern. Independent claims are included for gas cleaning.
