Heating device for a medium to be heated

The heating device (1) for a gaseous or liquid medium has two contact plates (5,6) between which is a disc-form heating element. The housing (2) for the contact plates has at least one retaining pin fitting through openings (12) in the contact plates. The second contact plate in the region of the opening has spring sections (14) which are deformable through the fitting of the second contact plate and which with the second contact plate fitted are supported on the retaining pin in the direction opposite the plug-in direction (A) to create the contact pressure between the heating element and the contact plates.
