The arrangement for measuring tire air pressure comprises a housing (7) in which a pressure measurement device is contained and a mounting arrangement for holding the pressure measurement device to the wheel rim. The mounting arrangement comprises a coiled spring (5) that surrounds a combined mounting and valve body (3, 4) that extends through the wheel rim. The spring has legs (5a) that press the housing against the wheel rim. An independent claim is made for an air-filled vehicle wheel.
